Before joining The CORE Institute, Vivian cared for patients at Barrow Neurological Institute’s (BNI) clinics in Phoenix. She is experienced in treating adult patients in the specialties of neuro-immunology, neuro-vascular, neuro-oncology, neuro-radiation oncology and headache medicine. Her wide range of experience allows her to have a greater understanding and appreciation of the central nervous system and how all these specialties can apply to each other, although they may seem to have little in common. Prior to her time at BNI, she cared for patients in internal medicine, pediatric and urgent care settings, she also spent time as a Physician Assistant in post-acute care and out-patient facilities, focusing on patient care.
Vivian completed her Bachelor of Medical Sciences Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University. She completed the biomedical sciences program at Midwestern University and attended the biological sciences program at Arizona State University, where she was recognized on the Dean’s List.Vivian is fluent in Spanish, Italian and Sicilian. She is an active member of the medical and volunteer community. Vivian is a member of National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and Arizona Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants.
