Elise Harris, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS is licensed physical therapist specializing in the treatment of orthopedic musculoskeletal injuries.

Before joining The CORE Institute, Elise worked as a Physical Therapist with ATI Physical Therapy in the upstate region of South Carolina. She received training in the spine, shoulder, knee physical therapy research programs and provided coverage at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas Fracture Clinic. Elise participated in a thirteen-month orthopedic residency at Proaxis Physical Therapy (ATI) in South Carolina and served as a Faculty Advisor for Envision EMI National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine and as a Weight Room Assistant for Duke University Athletics.

Elise is a certified orthopedic clinical specialist and NCSA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She has clinical experience in sports rehabilitation, performance, inpatient rehab, outpatient pediatrics, and acute care.

Elise completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Denison University in Ohio, graduating cum laude. She is a member of the orthopedics section of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
