Orthopedic Surgery Clinical Research

A prospective Study to Evaluate Surgical Outcomes in Subjects with Full-Thickness Rotator Cuff Tears Treated by Means of a Double-Row Arthroscopic Repair.

This study is measuring the rate of healing following rotator cuff repair surgery.  For one year following surgery, subjects undergo a series of MR and US imaging, and clinical evaluations to measure their strength, range of motion, and their satisfaction with how their shoulders have healed since the surgery.

Gait Analysis of Anterior vs. Posterior Approach in Performance of Total Hip Arthroplasty

The primary objective of the study is to compare gait kinematics and the return to normalization of gait in patients who have had a hip replacement via the direct anterior versus posterior surgical approach.
