David A. Ben-Aviv, MD
David A. Ben-Aviv, MD, a board certified specialist in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation, serves The CORE Institute as Medical Director of Inpatient and Subacute Rehabilitation at Banner Boswell Medical Center. He also holds positions as Medical Director of Grandview Care Center, Choice Rehab, and is Program Director of the Santé facilities in Surprise and North Scottsdale.
Dr. Ben-Aviv practiced in Northern California performing disability exams and in Amarillo, Texas in occupational health and rehab before arriving in Arizona. Focusing on inpatient and sub-acute rehabilitation, Dr. Ben-Aviv also is a certified acupuncturist providing The CORE Institute patients an additional treatment option.
Dr. Ben-Aviv completed his residency training at Stanford University, where he served as a resident, as well as appointed Chief Resident, in physical medicine and rehabilitation. While at Stanford University, Dr. Ben-Aviv was awarded the Peter Singleton Award for Excellence and Loyalty. A native New Yorker, Dr. Ben-Aviv completed his medical degree with Thomas Jefferson University in Pennsylvania and received his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology at Cornell University.
