
Andrew Morchower, MD
Dr. Morchower completed his interventional spine fellowship with Orthopaedic and Spine Specialists in Pennsylvania. During his fellowship, he was a co-investigator on an ISIS sponsored investigation which studied the effects of lumbar and cervical epidural steroid injections. Prior to fellowship, he completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. During residency, he received the Best Researcher Award for his work involving pain reduction during needle EMG, and he was elected as to the Graduate Medical Education Committee. Dr. Morchower completed an internship at the Dr. Morchower earned his medical degree, as well as a Masters of Public Health degree from Tulane University School of Medicine and Public Health in New Orleans, Louisiana. He obtained his bachelor’s degree at Tulane University A.B. Freeman School of Business. Dr. Morchower has had posters presented both nationally and internationally on topics including the reduction of pain during needle EMG, the management of intrathecal baclofen withdrawal and the improvement of cardiac rehabilitation. Andrew Morchower, MD is a fellowship-trained interventional spine and pain management specialist utilizing a wide range of minimally invasive techniques and musculoskeletal ultrasound.
