Nicolas Zastrow, PA-C
Nicolas Zastrow, PA-C, brings his expertise as a certified physician assistant working alongside Dr. Jason Scalise. Nick attended Central Michigan University where he received a Bachelor’s of Science degree, with a primary focus on health fitness and a minor in nutrition. He continued his education at CMU obtaining a Master’s of Science degree in physician assistant studies. During his post graduate studies, Nick gained experience as an intern at Alpena General Hospital in the Phase II & III Cardiac Rehabilitation Center.
Nick developed his skills as a physician assistant at an orthopedic practice and emergency room in Lancing, Michigan where he evaluated patients with orthopedic-related injuries. Nick then relocated to the greater Phoenix area at Maricopa Integrated Heath System. There he served as lead physician assistant of orthopedics and first assist in surgery for orthopedic trauma.
Nick has been a fellow member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) since 2003. Nick enjoys nearly all outdoor activities including camping, hiking, mountain biking, golfing and skiing. He also enjoys spending quality time with his wife.
