Christina McKay, PT, DPT, CSCS


headshot_mckayChristina McKay is a licensed physical therapist, specializing in orthopedic and chronic pain rehabilitation. Christina received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University and bachelor’s degree from the University of New Mexico, where she graduated magna cum laude.

While working towards her degree, Christina gained physical therapy experience as a physical therapist intern in acute care rehabilitation, outpatient orthopedics and sports therapy, aquatic therapy, neurological rehabilitation, and chronic pain rehabilitation. Christina has experience as a sports fitness instructor and personal trainer, targeting general fitness and health promotion.

Christina continues to stay active in the community; previous involvement includes a “Lose to Win Health” presentation focusing on basic stretching benefits and dehydration prevention. In addition, she has volunteered at the Kinsey Elementary Field Day event, organizing physical activity based learning games for children in honor of Physical Therapy Month and presented about the benefits of exercise safety.
