Steven L. Myerthall, MD

Steven L. Myerthall, MD is an internationally fellowship-trained specialist in minimally-invasive hip and knee reconstruction and arthroscopy, and is dedicated to exceptional patient care.

Dr. Myerthall received two undergraduate degrees, physical education and sciences in physical therapy, from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He stayed at UBC for his doctorate in medicine.

Upon completion of his orthopedic residency at the University of Toronto, Dr. Myerthall completed fellowship training in hip and knee replacement surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Ontario, and it was at the Toronto hospital in 1996 that Dr. Myerthall received the prestigious Sopman Humanitarian Award.

Dr. Myerthall has also been active in academic medicine, having lectured on a variety of topics to community groups, orthopedic associations, and at local and regional academic symposiums. He is a candidate member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada.
