Mark S. Parrella, MD
Mark S. Parrella, MD is a fellowship-trained specialist in orthopedic trauma with The CORE Institute.
Dr. Parrella received his bachelor's degree in biology with highest honors from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He then attended Georgetown University Graduate School where he graduated with distinction in physiology and biophysics. He completed his collegiate career with a medical doctorate from the Georgetown University School of Medicine.
After graduating from Georgetown, Dr. Parrella completed his orthopedic residency in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the Drexel University School of Medicine where the Arthroscopy Association of North America named him a Scholarship Resident. Most recently, Dr. Parrella completed an orthopedic traumatology fellowship at the Campbell Foundation in Memphis, Tennessee.
Dr. Parrella remains very active in the medical community by contributing publications and poster presentation as well as conducting research in various aspects of orthopedic traumatology.
