Mark D. Campbell, MD

Mark D. Campbell, MD, Chief of Physician Services, is a knee surgery specialist performing both partial and total knee arthroplasty, with subspecialty training in sports medicine as well as complex reconstruction of the foot and ankle. Dr. Campbell also has extensive training and interest in adult reconstructive procedures.

Dr. Campbell received a bachelor’s degree in biology and a master’s degree in biology/genetics from the University of Oregon. He received his medical degree from Albany Medical College where he graduated first in his class, summa cum laude. He was inducted into the prestigious medical society, Alpha Omega Alpha and served as president.

Following his medical school training, Dr. Campbell completed his orthopedic residency at the world renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Campbell then completed fellowship training in sports medicine as well as foot and ankle surgery at the Institute for Bone and Joint Disorders in Phoenix, AZ.

Throughout his training and career, Dr. Campbell has received many awards and achievements. Dr. Campbell has been active in research, publishing and lecturing in the field of orthopedics and is a member of multiple medical organizations. He is board certified as well as a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

Dr. Campbell has many interests outside the field of medicine, the most important being his daughter. He also enjoys golfing, fishing, reading and water sports.
